Why do we need to learn about literature? Because Literature gives us kind of inputs to learn about life. It can be someone’s history of life, biography of famous persons, culture, science, psychology aspect of the writers and or people. Even more, Literature is not only a place that words have compiled into sentences but also it gives us to involve more about the situation that happens in past or future. We can also find and catch the meaning of the author’s messages inside the literature product. Besides, it can teach us how to think something critically and go down deeper in some cases about the life itself. From literature itself, we can learn about people’s characters that have written by the authors in Novel, novelette, or short story. In academic subfield, we can connect through literary theory to discuss something happen inside the product of literature itself. By using theory, such as, Feminism, sociology, mimetic, Marxism, psychology, objective theory, we can prove the analysis based on the purpose of research. So, I may say that literature is the mother of knowledge. Literature is universal. By learning literature, we can see the world, universe and content. Literature is wonderful and beautiful :)
